Each strip is one signal, one column per day, coloured by that day's classification; the dark line overlays the signal's raw value (scaled to its own range). Macro tiles are backfilled daily from the feature matrix; crash-family signals and the aggregate scores are reconstructed at weekly cutoffs by re-running the full pipeline on source data truncated to each date (current-vintage data — revisions may shift a value slightly vs what a live run showed), then accumulate one true snapshot per day. Gaps up to 9 days are bridged by carrying the last recorded value forward — those cells render dimmer (and say so on hover) so a run of identical-looking days never reads as a live pipeline when it is actually stale; a bigger hole is left visibly empty instead. The date ruler under each panel keys the columns; hover (or focus the score chart and use ←/→) for exact values — the score chart's tooltip also rolls up how many signals sat in each state that day and names the ones that were alerting.
