Daily collection at 07:35 UTC. Provider publication and observation frequency are different clocks.
What is refreshed
Port and passage catalogs, daily activity histories, daily, 30-day, 90-day and year-over-year comparison windows, and monthly location histories all come from the continuing IMF PortWatch APIs. Daily runs re-download recent windows. Sunday runs re-download the configured history to pick up older revisions. Initial history is fetched from those same APIs.
What the data can establish
AIS-derived estimates measure vessel activity and estimated cargo movements. Passage capacity is vessel carrying capacity, not verified cargo delivered. Tanker activity near LNG facilities is an exposure proxy; it does not identify LNG cargo. The feeds do not establish container-yard occupancy, stored oil barrels, cargo ownership or a tradable market edge.
Historical values are revised. The observation journal begins with this dashboard’s actual collection; it is never populated from reconstructed history.
